DYNAMAT
The 'Top Builders' in the industry insist on Dynamat, from Chip Foose to Troy Trepanier, to Denny Terzich. The Ultimate in Heat and Sound Protection
Continuing installation of Dynamat Extreme on the bottom of the cowl areas of the car, and down the firewall towards the floorboards, now extending to the floors to the fronts of each Full Containment Seat bottom supports. We started with these areas, as it’s the most difficult to form around the multitude of curves and angles. The interior firewall area will have a second application of their Dynaliner for the ultimate in sound deadening protection

Continued the installation, with completion to the back of the Full Containment Seat area

Installation on the top of the existing dash area for additional cool and quiet. This upper area will be covered with the dash

Note the Satin Silver Jet-Hot Coated Corvette Master Cylinder.
Up next is the reinstallation of the steering column and linkage, followed by the final installation of the
'Custom Aluminum Race Dash
Can we say
“Cool and Quiet”
Thanks again Dynamat
Maxx2Racing Custom Aluminum Race Dash
March 25, 2012

The dash is coated, and permanently installed, and awaits its Ron Francis Wiring. Toggles, and related components, and its removable panel of AutoMeter Gauges. You will be treated to a new location for the Tach, as most are not fully visble behind the steering wheel. The curved area above the dash panel will be padded and covered in a light gray fabric, which stops any glare from the sun. The Full Containments Seats (2) will be covered in the same fabric. The colors for the door panels, headliner, kick panels, and rear panels are yet to be determined
The steering column and linkage have been fully stripped and cleaned, and painted with VHT Hi Gloss Black Hi-temp Rotor and Caliper Paint, same with the gas and brake pedals
